  5. I previously contacted you, asking you how I should send you a new
  6. version of Kermit which we developed.  The new version is for the
  7. Tektronix 4170 CP/M-86.
  8.  
  9. All the files on this tape come from the standard Kermit distribution
  10. tape, except two files:

  12. READ.ME    -    this message
  13. 86KERI.TEK -     machine specific module for 4170, like 86KERI.RB,86KERI.APC
  14.  
  15. The rest of the files are the standard files for CP/M-86 Kermit, for the
  16. Rainbow and APC.  These files remain unchanged.  I have written no new
  17. documentation for this implementation.  The instructions are the same as
  18. for the other CP/M-86 versions with just one additional point:

  20. The HOST port of the 4170 is used for Kermit.
